Jim Henson’s much-loved kids show returned in September, with a new ‘contemporary, documentary-style show’ airing on US network ABC.
Having made his first appearance in The Muppets’ 2011 film, starring as Animal‘s replacement drummer in The Moopets band, Grohl will now feature in an episode titled ‘Going, Going, Gonzo’, which will be broadcast on December 1.
Variety reports that the episode will see Grohl “challenge Animal to a drum-off”. Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt will also appear in the episode.
