Amanda Palmer Keynote Speaker at 2013 EMP Pop Conference, 4/19

Hot off the heels of delivering an epic TEDtalk that quickly rose to internet fame as the fastest viewed talk in TED history, and a string of events at SXSW 2013 that saw Amanda Palmer duet with longtime hero, Billy Bragg– Amanda will give a live-streamed keynote presentation at the esteemed 2013 EMP Pop Conference this Friday, April 19th followed by a handful of US performances.

AFP and her raucous crew, The Grand Theft Orchestra, are thrilled to announce re-scheduled European tour dates for 2013 to make up for the previously cancelled bolt across the continent in March. With a handful of summer festivals thrown into the mix- all headlining dates find singer, songwriter, piano-slayer and super-blogger Amanda Palmer, and her band, continuing to promote her arguably most pop-influenced album yet, Theatre Is Evil. Tour-mates The Simple Pleasure and Jherek Bischoff are on board as main support acts in all markets. Tickets previously purchased through all regional outlets for any of the original March 2013 dates will be honored in each city for the rescheduled dates.
