The Stones Kicked off the Tour: Performing Emotional Rescue for first time ever in 33 years!

After 33 years The Rolling Stone have finally played their 1980 hit song ‘Emotional Rescue’ for the very first time in concert on opening night of the 50 and Counting tour.’Emotional Rescue’ was a number 3 hit in America for The Stones and also reached number 9 in the UK. Keith Richard was not a fan of the disco based song and it never made a Stones setlist until now.The Rolling Stones played the first show of their 2013 50 and Counting tour Friday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.Also in the setlist was ‘Factory Girl’, performed for the first time since 1997.One time member Mick Taylor will also make a guest appearance at each show. He performed ‘Midnight Rambler’ with the band.
