Man what can’t Dave Grohl do? He is now directing his documentary Sound City and performing with his Sound City Players ensemble. Check out Grohl as he beats out “Mantra” at his Studio 606 space. Grohl seen here ruling drums, starting off focused and under control and unleashing his fury as the track builds steam. Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme provides the driving bassline while Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor creates a swirling tempo of piano. The trio’s chemistry is unstoppable as they stroll through the track without a word. Good stuff!
