TOURING CONTINUES WITH LACUNA COIL AND COAL CHAMBER
The Atlanta band (@Sevendust)–Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Morgan Rose (drums/vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar/vocals), Vince Hornsby (bass/vocals) and John Connolly (guitar/vocals)—released their highly anticipated ninth studio album, BLACK OUT THE SUN, today on their 7Bros. Records in conjunction with ADA Label Services. The first single, “Decay,” is currently bulleted on the BDS Active Rock Chart at #13 and the Mediabase Active Rock chart at #12. It has also spent the past four weeks in the #1 spot on SiriusXM’s “Big Uns” countdown on the Octane active rock channel.
SEVENDUST continues to prove why they’re the hardest touring band in Rock today as they criss-cross the U.S. on their headlining tour with Lacuna Coil and Candlelight Red through March 27 in El Cajon, CA. From there, they’ll team up with Coal Chamber for a co-headlining tour starting March 28 in Tempe, AZ at The Marquee and concluding April 28 in Dallas, TX at The Palladium Ballroom. Starting April 30, the band will play headlining shows joined by such bands as Pop Evil and In This Moment. Stops at festival shows, including Rock On The Range in Columbus, OH on Sunday, May 19, will be made throughout the on-going headlining tour.
As Drumhead magazine praised: ““Somehow Sevendust grows stronger with each successive album…BLACK OUT THE SUN sees Sevendust at their most uncompromising, unwavering and undeniable.” While Outburn magazine agreed: ““…brooding verses that build up to cavernous choruses and raging, blues based fretwork that reveals the band’s Southern roots…BLACK OUT THE SUN stands as their most polished effort yet.” And ArtistDIRECT.com concludes: “Sevendust have made a landmark record in a career of landmark records, but they’ve still got even more to give.”
