Pink covers the June issue of Glamour, opening up about her new album “The Truth About Love,” motherhood and her marriage to Carey Hart.
Asked why many of the songs on her new record are about sex, such as “Slut Like You” and “Walk of Shame,” the singer tells the mag, “I’m a reformed slut,” explaining, “It’s my very unsophisticated way of taking the power back.”
“I’ve always had an issue with [the idea that]: ‘OK, we’ve both decided to do this. Why am I a slut and you’re the player? You didn’t get anything from me that I didn’t get from you,’” she offers.
Pink goes on to discuss her relationship with Hart, saying, “Are things ever good? I don’t believe that exists. Long-term relationships are an everyday choice. It’s harder to be in a marriage than it is to bounce from one relationship to the next.”
“We’re good because we communicate and we’ve grown up together, not because we don’t fight,” the pop star shares.
Pink reveals the couple’s last fight was about Hart not getting her flowers after she performed a big show and “being a d**chebag.”
The mom also opens up about her baby daughter Willow, telling the mag her 22-month-old recently dropped an F-bomb.
The “Raise Your Glass” singer shares, “Willow said, ‘F**kin’ hi,’ the other day. I’m like, ‘F**k!’
The issue hits newsstands on May 7.
