Godsmack is getting back to work.
The metal band told fans in a recent Facebook post that they’re spending some time in Florida writing music for their next album.
The finished product will be Godsmack’s first studio effort since 2010’s The Oracle, although they did put out a live album just last year.
In the interim, frontman Sully Erna has been keeping busy with extracurricular activites that included solo shows, a return to playing poker, and a new movie star gig. Erna plays the lead role in an upcoming horror film titled Army of the Damned, which is due out in January.
