The Zac Brown Band’s collaboration with Dave Grohl will be out just in time for Christmas.
The country stars announced Tuesday that their new album The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1 is scheduled to hit iTunes on December 10th.
The Foo Fighters leader produced and played drums on the studio effort, which features the new song “Day for the Dead.” The Zac Brown Band originally debuted the track with Grohl live at the Country Music Association Awards earlier this month.
The band called Grohl a “musical genius,” and said it was amazing to play with him onstage and in the studio. Likewise, Grohl told “Rolling Stone” the guys are “unbelievable.” He joked that he’s still not sure what genre to put them in, but he says their music is great no matter what you call it.
