Jack White is mapping out his summer plans. The former White Stripes frontman has announced a list of solo dates in support of his new album, Lazaretto, due out June 10th.
White’s first performance on the “High Ball Stepper” tour will take place on Record Store Day on April 19th, on which he will also attempt to set a record for the “world’s fastest released record.”
At Third Man Records storefront in Nashville, White will record the title track from Lazaretto, press it into a seven-inch vinyl single, and sell it – all on the same day. White’s tour will get into full swing a month later in Tulsa Oklahoma on May 29th.
In addition to select dates in North America, he’ll also take his show overseas for dates in Ireland, France, England, and the Netherlands.
