Michigan hard rock outfit, Pop Evil, has unveiled their music video for the single “Skeletons,” currently holding a spot in the Top 5 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart. Directed by Johan Carlèn, the video offers a glimpse into a dystopian future where a man’s supply run takes a dangerous turn, leading to a confrontation with a formidable machine.
Leigh Kakaty, the band’s frontman, commented on the video, “Sometimes the little things in life come with the hardest challenges to overcome. It was awesome to team up with our long-time friend and director, Johan Carlén, to tell this tale of one man’s determination; to risk it all in a world that is constantly coming after him. With so much chaos in the world today, we feel it is important now, more than ever, to remember we are only human.”
The video is available for viewing here.
In addition to the video release, Pop Evil has announced their upcoming 19-date U.S. headlining Flesh & Bone tour. The tour will feature special guests Fame on Fire and Lylvc. Starting in Fort Smith, AR, on October 28, 2023, the tour will conclude in Grand Rapids, MI, on November 22, 2023.
With their “Skeletons” album now available, which includes tracks like “Eye of the Storm” and “Paranoid (Crash & Burn),” Pop Evil is gearing up for a busy end of the year. Those interested in catching them live can check for ticket availability for the Flesh & Bone tour.
