On December 6, 2025, the intimate venue of the Beachland Ballroom & Tavern in Cleveland, OH, buzzed with anticipation as Taylor Acorn would take this stage. The raw emotional power and energetic performance by the singer-songwriter would mark the end of a successful tour for the release of her new album Poster Child.
Before Acorn’s set, Wilt, a LA based band, kicked off the night. Their alternative rock songs set the perfect tone for what was to come.
Her entrance was met with loud cheers. Her down-to-earth nature and charisma had the crowd immediately connecting to her, like family or old friends reuniting. The Beachland Ballroom, with its cozy atmosphere, only added a sense of intimacy between Acorn and the audience. This would set the tone for a perfect show night.
It was clear that Taylor’s music is not only catchy and full of rock energy, but also has a raw emotional power to it, speaking directly to her fans’ hearts. This dynamic setlist would have the crowd sing along, jumping or dancing all night.
Whether it was older, fan favorites like “Coma” or newer extract from her recently released Poster Child album like “Vertigo”, Taylor seamlessly moved between high-energy tracks and more intimate, stripped-down moments. Her pop rock anthem “Goodbye, Good Riddance” electrified the room, but what truly resonated was some of the more vulnerable moments of the show.
At one point, Taylor opened up and shared personal stories from her life and artistic journey, including the experiences that inspired several tracks on her latest album. With this being the tour’s final show, the emotion in the room was overwhelming, and the crowd embraced every moment. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support she’s received over the years, a sentiment that resonated deeply with the audience, which grew especially emotional during her moving rendition of “Home Videos.”
As the night drew to a close, Acorn stepped offstage for a brief encore break, only to return with a powerful finale featuring the fan-favorite track “Psycho.” The song pulled the last reserves of energy from the crowd as they danced straight through to the end. For the final farewell, the full tour crew and the opening band joined Acorn onstage, creating a spirited, joyful sendoff.
The Cleveland crowd buzzed with excitement, knowing they were part of a special night. Taylor Acorn’s show at the Beachland Ballroom proved just how gifted she is and how deeply she resonates with her fans. The night was packed with emotion, energy, and an unfiltered honesty—traits often missing in mainstream pop-rock but absolutely essential to her charm. Even for those who couldn’t be there, it’s obvious that Acorn is an ascending artist whose music connects with anyone who’s weathered life’s ups and downs.
