Creed’s recent concert at the New Hampshire Bank Pavilion was a powerful reminder of the band’s enduring appeal and the timelessness of their hits. For me the last time I saw them was in Boston many years ago. I can tell you today they are even better! As the sun set over the beautiful outdoor venue, fans gathered with palpable excitement, ready to relive the nostalgia of the early 2000s.
The evening kicked off with a stellar opening act that set the tone for the night, but it was Creed’s entrance that truly electrified the crowd. Lead singer Scott Stapp, with his unmistakable voice and commanding stage presence, immediately drew the audience in. The band opened with “What’s This Life For,” a perfect choice that had fans singing along right from the start.
Throughout the night, the setlist was a well-crafted mix of their classic hits and deeper cuts. Songs like “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open,” and “My Sacrifice” resonated deeply, showcasing the emotional depth that has always characterized Creed’s music. The band’s chemistry was evident; guitarist Mark Tremonti’s riffs were as sharp as ever, and the rhythm section drove the music with solid precision. He even gave away a guitar to a kid in the audience.
Visually, the concert was impressive, with a mix of dramatic lighting and video backdrops that enhanced the emotional weight of the lyrics. The energy in the crowd was infectious, with fans swaying, singing, and even shedding a few tears during the more poignant moments of the performance.
