DragonForce, A British Power Metal Band out of London England, who are on a North American tour Promoting their latest album “ Maximum Overload” played to a packed house at the Palladium in Worchester, MA on Friday May 1, 2015. The Same venue they played their first US show at back in 2006.
They came out on stage, full of energy, constantly moving and jumping around the stage ensuring everyone in the house had a great view of the entire band. The crowd in attendance was equally full of energy as a mosh pit and crowd surfing quickly began. At one point Lead Singer Marc Hudson even joined in and surfed out into the crowd.
The Majority of their set focused on the new album with songs such as “The Game” and “Defenders”. Their set also included a cover of Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire which was top notch! They closed the set with one of their top hits and fan favorites “Through the Fire and Flames”.
I found both their Music and stage presence to be extremely entertaining and I would definitely see them again next time they are in the area.
Kamelot, An American power out of Tampa, FL, who are currently on a World Tour Promoting their latest album “Haven”, played to a packed house at the Palladium in Worchester, MA on Friday May 1, 2015.
They took the stage to the tune of “Rule the World” and quickly transitioned into one of their hit songs entitled “Ghost Opera”, which really brought the crowd to life. By the 2nd song of the set moshing and crowd surfing were in full effect.
Promoting their new album, their set covered alot of their new material including new singles “Veil Of Elysium” and “Insomnia” , Though they didn’t disappoint fans hoping to catch some of their earlier hits as they included several of their older works including “The Great Pandemonium” and “Sacrimony (Angel of Afterlife)”. Throughout the set they took the time to highlight each member of the band with their own solo.
At the end of the night the crowd was left satisfied and entertained with both great music and a great performance.
