This was a epic show offering up close to five hours of non-stop rock. Starting with the opening Grammy-nominated alt-rockers Mutemath the acoustics, the energy, the audience, everything started this event out so well. MUTEMATH’s sound was better live than on any recording I’ve heard of them. They were the perfect opening act for what was to come.

Incubus Never disappointing with their rock solid sound Incubus- Bandon Boyd vocalist sings with range, power, and passion. Referred to the tour as their own ‘Monsters of Rock, ‘Singing with a hand held mic eyes closed mouth wide belted out every word from his heart. “Here’s the feed good hit of 12 years ago,” said Boyd, before launching into the song that introduced Incubus to many fans, “Drive,” with its chorus “whatever tomorrow brings, I’ll be there.” The pounding rock of “Pardon Me” showed Incubus was finally warmed up. The closing “Tomorrow’s Food” ended their set Incubus worked hard, and Boyd was drenched in sweat! This set covered the tremendous range of their last five discs, including homage to Lionel Richie with their rendition of ‘Hello.’ The crowd loved it! Incubus played killer 18-songs, close to an hour and forty minute long it was clearly evident that Incubus are seasoned pros when it comes to performing live and that they Clearly love what they do.

Linkin Park have the advantage of having shared a stage together for now over a decade have developed there own style of stage presents. Mike Shinoda writes sharp lyrics, and he delivers them with passion and flow this with contrast to that of the raw emotion of Bennington’s rock lyrics, this is what makes Linkin Park’s so wonderfully diverse. Linkin Park is a true original with their sound and music. For this show they played a total of 20 songs spanning their whole discology including 4 tunes from this year’s “Living Things” album. The multi-level stage included an x shaped ramp that allowed the band to stroll or run between all three levels. The back video showed photo images or close ups of the band, and later in the set showing a 6 shot flame burst into the air. That was just and appetizer for one of the band’s biggest hits “Somewhere I Belong.” this version was as primitive as rock n roll ever gets. “Victimized- with larger than like on screen mummified-paranormal activity-insidious like people popping out on the large screen it was crazy even the lady beside me was afraid hiding behind the person she attended the concert with. During this song  Shinoda at stage front on the lowest level, while Bennington snag his choruses from the very top level with perfect leading in to  “Lies,Greed,Misery” off there hard driving new disc. Brad Delson on lead guitar is an anonymous weapon of this show his guitar riffs were absolutely spot on for “Points of Authority.” The regular set ended with “One Step Closer” and its metal thunder, accompanied by more fire blast on this hot summer night in New England. The encore “Burn It Down” with further fire blast was a sure crowd please but perhaps best vocal of the night come on the second encore “In The End.” Followed by the 3rd encore “Numb.” Linking Park ended their show with an interesting take on “Bleed It Out,” with their unique bridge that quotes the Beastie
