Loud, excited, and singing every word to every song. That perfectly describes the audience at The Neighbourhood’s show at TD Garden. Frontman Jesse Rutherford had a special connection with the sold-out crowd who predicted and reacted to each element of the show. Every seat was empty for the entire close to 2 hour set with everyone in the Garden standing the whole time. One thing that was unique was that unlike many shows, the flow in and out of the actual area seemed to be far less with the crowd remaining at their seats not wanting to miss any part of the performance.

Featuring a setlist that included “Hula Girl,” “Daddy Issues,” “Reflections,” “The Beach,” and “Sweater Weather,” the band paired its performance with real-time video projected behind the stage. The show was structured into distinct sections, including one focused on “The Ballads.” While those moments leaned softer, the set still delivered plenty of rock, spanning a wide stylistic range—from stripped-down ballads to more driving, energetic tracks—all of which were fully represented throughout The Neighbourhood’s performance.

The world tour is sold out but that doesn’t stop you from checking out their music and if the opportunity arises, catch a live performance.
