July 31, 2015 was stop number 21 of a 28 date tour for 3 Doors Down and Seether (Who joined them on tour for the July dates).  And if those two bands were not enough, We Are Harlot was a late addition for the evening. Mohegan Sun Arena was in for a show.
We Are Harlot kicked off the night of fun. The band consisting of former Asking Alexandria vocalist Danny Worsnop, Jeff George guitarist for Sebastian Bach, Brian Weaver bass from Silvertide and Bruno Agra on drums showed their on stage presence and love for music. Their style is 80’s rock influenced and pure rock n roll. I think Danny sounded very strong vocally and the band overall sounded tight. They rocked the stage and warmed up the crowd giving them an energetic set. The crowd was treated to an 8 song setlist that included “Dancing On Nails“, “Denial“, “One More Night” and even “Tie Your Mother Down” (Queen cover).
The packed arena was now ready for Seether. Seeing this band live was an experience. They delivered hit after hit and sounded heavy and strong. Vocals (Shaun Morgan) and music all on spot the audience was given a performance to remember. Seether tore through an 11 song setlist that included hits “Gasoline“, “Broken“, “Nobody Praying For Me”, “Fake It” and “Remedy“. The audience was with this band feeling every song and note from start to finish and Seether delivered to them.
The headliner of the night was 3 Doors Down. With Chet Roberts on keyboards and Brad Arnold on vocals, the set began with “Here Without You“. This captured the audience from the start and they sang along. From there the band and audience never looked back. Hit after hit was performed and the crowd ate it up. The band sounded stronger than ever and seems to be revived. A highlight of the night was when Shaun Morgan join Brad Arnold on stage for an acoustic cover of Phil Collin’s “Another Day In Paradise”.  The rest of the set also featured “Let Me Go”, “Away From The Sun”, “It’s Not My Time”, “Kryptonite” and “When I’m Gone“.
This show is one fans will remember. The love these bands have for each other and for music shows in their performances.
