Alice In Chains Just Released The Album Cover Artwork-The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here

After a few years away from the studio, a new album from Alice In Chains is finally nearing its release. Coming with the great title The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, the band’s fifth LP just had its cover and release date unveiled over at the band’s official site, in exchange for a tweet.The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is set for a May 28th release, and its tracklist is reportedly as follows:

According to GrungeReport, guitarist/singer Jerry Cantrell recently made some comments to Revolver Magazine regarding the album’s anti-religious title. He was quoted as saying:

“Read a fucking paper. What I’ve seen is the most basic message to most faith systems is in contradiction with how it gets applied. The human element seems to fuck it up. It seems to fuck up the basic truths of acceptance, loving your brother, helping each other out, not trying to kill each other or steal each other’s shit. Those are all pretty good ideas. And most of your major religions have those things as basic tenets of the belief system. It always amazes me that some of the most hateful and hurtful things are done in the name of some sort of belief system.”
