Buckcherry have confirmed additional tour dates!

Buckcherry have confirmed additional tour dates in support of their recently-released Confessions CD (Century Media Records) which debuted at #20 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. After wrapping up the second leg of Kid Rock’s “Rebel Soul” tour on April 6, Buckcherry will head overseas for shows in Australia and Japan.

The multi-platinum Los Angeles rock band–Josh Todd (vocals), Keith Nelson (guitar), Stevie D. (guitar), Jimmy Ashhurst (bass), Xavier Muriel (drums)–returns to the U.S. for an April 28 performance at Jacksonville, Florida’s Welcome To Rockville festival, followed by U.S. headlining dates and festival appearances through July. Buckcherry will play U.S. rock festivals including: Carolina Rebellion, Rock On The Range, Rock On The River and Rock U.S.A. Festival, among others.

Confessions’ first single “Gluttony” is in the Top 25 and climbing at Active Rock radio. The album–which features songs tied together by the underlying theme of the Seven Deadly Sins–is also receiving media praise in the U.S. and overseas. Here are some recent examples:

“By recounting the highs (both literal and figurative) and lows of frontman Josh Todd’s reckless youth via songs that strike a sublime balance between steely aged aggression and supine vulnerability, the dark side of Buckcherry’s party rock ethos has been brought deftly to the fore, and it suits them…Buckcherry are rocking harder and better than ever before…both heart and mind are engaged throughout and the result is subtly revelatory and the finest album the band have ever made.”

–Dom Lawson, Metal Hammer (UK), March 1, 2013

 “…Buckcherry’s most ambitious album yet…”

–Andrew Lentz, Drum! Magazine, April 2013

“The Los Angeles-based group spits out pure, raw rock with sneering guitars, raspy vocals and swinging rhythms.”

–Anne Erickson, Gibson.com, March 22, 2013

“Through hard-hitting guitar, trenchant vocals and sleazy lyrics, he gives depravity a sonic correlative, presenting various forms of vice as kind of a musical slide show.”

 –Ray Cavenaugh, Music & Musicians, April/May 2013

“…Buckcherry’s most consistent and thoroughly satisfying effort. A mix of straightforward hard rock, groovy sleaze rock and power ballads…a collection of honest, revealing, unapologetically raw songs that create one of the [most] moving hard rock disks in some time.”

 –Vinny Cecolini, JamMagazineOnline.com, March 2013

 “…some of the band’s best work yet…”

 –PlanetMosh.com (UK), January 26, 201
