This September, Jack White performed at a fundraiser called Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of Inside Llewyn Davis.
At the benefit concert, White performed, We’re Going To Be Friends, a song from his time with The White Stripes. Along with White’s guitar and vocals, the performance features a double bass, banjo, and fiddle.
Showtime will air the concert next week.
Inside Llewyn Davis is a Coen Brothers film. It will get a limited release in the United States on Friday, December 6. Mumford & Sons front-man Marcus Mumford contributed to the movie’s soundtrack. Mumford also performed at the fundraiser.
Mumford has another connection to the film. His wife, Carey Mulligan, stars in the movie.
