An early Dave Grohl demo is now online after it was played during the Seattle episode of Sonic Highways. The song is called “Watered it Down” and was found by Foo Fighters producer Barrett Jones. Grohl appeared embarrassed and tried to hide his face.
The first song revealed was “Hooker On The Street”, which was recorded by Grohl, his sister Lisa and Mike Nelson as Allister Lobb in 1992. The song features Grohl singing “You watered it down, down, you watered it down, water water water water water water” in a funny voice. The song is similar to Allister Lobb’s “Unknown #2″ and the Foo Fighters’ “Arlandria” from 2011’s Wasting Light.
