The Sheepdogs have unveiled their cinematic music video for “Bad Lieutenant,” via Glide. The NSFW video follows a police officer with a tendency to bend the rules for himself as he makes a string of unethical decisions. The song is from the bands fifth album Future Nostalgia, which was released on October 2, 2015 via Dine Alone Records.
“Bad Lieutenant is the story of a bad, bad man who hides his evil by wearing a disguise,” said Ewan Currie. “It’s the juxtaposition of good and evil as personified by the Bad Lieutenant movies: both Abel Ferrara’s original starring Harvey Keitel and Werner Herzog’s update featuring Nicholas Cage. We turned it over to director Maxxis who brings to life this dark story about the evil that men do.”
“This video is not about being weird for the sake of being weird,” said director Michael Maxxis (Kygo, City and Colour). “It’s an excavation into the human psyche, and the impulses that are bubbling under the surface.”
