The Wasabi Fenway Bowl won’t end with the final whistle on December 27. Country music star Riley Green will perform an hour-long postgame concert immediately following the Army-UConn matchup at Fenway Park, giving fans a double dose of entertainment during the holiday weekend.
The 2:15 p.m. ET game, broadcast nationally on ESPN, marks the fourth year Fenway has hosted a college football bowl game. The venue remains one of only three active postseason games played in a Major League Baseball stadium, alongside Yankee Stadium’s Pinstripe Bowl and Chase Field’s Rate Bowl.
Green, the Alabama native behind hits like “Don’t Mind If I Do” and “Worst Way,” brings his traditional country sound to Boston through a partnership with Ballpark Music. The concert is included with game admission, offering ticket holders added value during the post-Christmas weekend.
The timing is particularly meaningful as the U.S. Army celebrates its 250th birthday in 2025 Army West Point, with the bowl game taking place in a city central to American military history.
