Bebe Rexha might not be a common name in the music industry yet, but her past proceeds her for sure. Having worked with artists such as Eminem, Selena Gomez, and more she has worked her way to her own career. The crowd that knew who loved every moment of her set. The fans seeing her for the first time slowly got up on their feet and by the end were new fans for sure including myself. Her vocal ability speaks for herself and stage presence is top notch. She warmed the crowd up like a good opener should.
Nick, after much success of being part of the Jonas Brothers trio, is now trying his own solo career and first tour. The tour stopped at Mohegan Sun Arena in CT on 9/11/15. Nick strutted through the smoke to the front of the stage to the sound of heartbeats with his sunglasses and shaved head kicking off his set with Chains. He tore through other songs such as Numb, Levels, Wilderness, Good Thing and Area Code. He swooned the crowd with an acoustic medley of ballads. He shared a special moment of silence with the crowd to remember the 9/11 tragedies. He added Introducing Me to his set having heard the song on his way entering Mohegan Sun. He ran into the crowd for a song taking selfies and singing with them. He had the crowd going through hit after hit such as Warning, Push, Don’t Make Me Choose, Santa Barbara and Under You. His crowd participation song of Outkasts’ Roses went a little over the age of the crowd in attendance but a great performance nonetheless. He finished strong with three hits Teacher, Takeover and Jealous. This show left the crowd wanting more and on their feet screaming. Nick proved he can take the stage alone and I am sure this is not the last we will hear of him.
