The Revivalists have announced the Strangers in the Bright Lights Fall 2016 headlining tour which will bring their acclaimed live show to major cities across the country this fall, including stops in New York City, Boston, Washington DC, and Charlotte. Tickets for the fall tour go on sale to the public Friday, June 24th at 10am local time. The Temperance Movement will open for The Revivalists from September 7th through October 19th. During the tour the band will make a special stop in Hamilton, OH on September 10th for front man David Shaw’s Big River Get Down. They will headline the one-day festival, which will also feature a special acoustic set by Hamilton native David Shaw.
The Strangers in the Bright Lights tour pulls its name from lyrics from the band’s current single “Wish I Knew You,” which is about to break into the Top 10 at Triple A Radio, you can watch the video below.”Wish I Knew You” will be one of many songs that The Revivalists play when they tape a performance for nationally syndicated public television series Infinity Hall Live on July 21st in Hartford, CT.
