Matt and Kim, the Brooklyn duo who are known for their insanely energetic live performances are currently on their first tour since being sidelined by Kim’s onstage unjury in early 2017. Her extensive recovery put touring on hold for the band for an entire year (the longest they’ve ever stayed off the road). It’s clear that the couple are thrilled to be back lighting up venues across the country.
In the down time, the pair used that time to create one of their most personal albums to date, with writing beginning just one month after Kim’s surgery. Wanting to capture the energy of their live show, Matt and Kim invited friends Mark Hoppus, Kevin Morby, Santigold, SWMRS, Flosstradamus and more to lend vocals to album tracks. Matt and Kim are set to release their 6th album Almost Everyday this May on FADER Label, and are currently tearing across the states on their spring tour.
