Industrial Metal band, Combichrist, performed songs from their new album One Fire, as well as earlier releases, at Wally’s Pub in Hampton. Vocalist and band founder Andy LaPlegua, along with guitarist Eric 13 and two fairly new drummers played an energetic show for a small but engaged audience. Many wore Combichrist tee shirts showing a strong area fan base. The crowd size had no impact on the performance as the band played hard and for well over an hour. They engaged with the audience throughout the evening and put on an energetic show with one drummer often standing on the drums, adding to the performance beyond the music.
Eric 13 was up front with Andy throughout the show. Although Andy is clearly the band’s front man, Eric also engaged with the audience as the show went on. Andy’s constant interaction with the crowd showed how much he really enjoys performing.
LA Electro Alt rock band, Silver Snakes are opening for Combichrist for this current tour.
A good combination worth checking out.
