Galleries: From Ashes to New, Magnolia Park, Until I Wake, Not Enough Space
As part of their New Disease tour, From Ashes to New stopped at the House of Blues, Cleveland. While the crowd was lining up at the door and you could feel the excitement and energy in the air. The night was young, yet you could already tell it was going to be quite a show.
The House of Blues in Cleveland was ideal with it’s energetic yet cozy layout, allowing a intimate and intense music experience wherever you stand. Openers Not Enough Space, Until I Wake and Magnolia Park got the fan fired up and ready. The entire venue was electric before From Ashes to New took the stage and anticipation was at an all-time high.
Lead by Founder and Frontman Matt Brandyberry, the band got on stage and started a powerful performance. Crushing riffs and soaring vocals delivered an emotional and fierce show. Danny Case chemistry with Matt was a sight to behold, and their conscious effort to trade between raw aggression and clean melodic tune was inspiring.
The support provided by the powerful guitars and drum sounds, hitting the venue with crisp notes, made each song resound perfectly with the venue and ambiance. The show was further enhanced by the strobing effect and subtle color changes of the lighting. The dynamic movement gave a strong cinematic feel and amplified the different tone of the songs with emotion and passion.
Knows for their interactions with the fans, From Ashes to New made no exception on this October night. They engaged with the Cleveland audience and the energy being shared between the band and the crowd was palpable. Whether it was singing every word, chanting along, or just moshing in place, the crowd gave as good as it got.
Some of the more emotional songs visibly moved the fan, swaying or singing softly at the vocal of Brandyberry and Case. Some other heavier aspect of the set had them banging their heads at the sound of the killer guitar riffs and drum bit. That mix between heartfelt personal moment and high-octane catharsis combined for a show that would stay in the mind of the fans, new and old alike.
Overall, From Ashes to New’s Cleveland show on October 11 felt like more than just a concert – it was a celebration. The emotion, fire and power coming from the show, combined with the crowd energy, the band stagecraft, led to an intense resonance between the fans and the group. This is the kind of night that this band keeps on delivering and it’s no mystery why it’s attraction more and more loyal fan.
