Whether playing for 50 or 50,000 fans, you will get the same 110% out of all the guys in Gemini Syndrome. From the moment they hit the stage till the last note it is pure energy. Besides the incredible songs these guys play. I admire their stage presence. I have never seen a band interact with the crowd like Aaron, Mike, Chris, AP and Brian do. Constant eye contact, a fist bump here and there. Nobody connects with their fans like they do. And I see them having a long and very successful career.
They started their set with the instrumental ‘Lux’ while the stage fills with smoke. Once the song fades out, they kick right in with ‘Pleasure & Pain’ which is the perfect song to get the blood flowing and the audience hyped. Not wasting any time, they went on to play ‘Syndrome’ and then ‘Basement’ They paused a minute so Aaron could thank the audience from coming out and to give a hand for the opening bands ‘Exotype’ and ‘Eyes Set to Kill’. This short break allowed guitarists Mike Salerno and Rich Juzwick to bump fists and shake hands with a few people in the crowd.
They then continued on with their 10 song set and ended by playing my two favorite songs ‘Mourning Star’ and then ‘Stardust’. Stardust has been tearing up the Sirius XM charts. Appearing at the Number 1 and Number 2 spot for several months. I urge you to take a listen if you have not. It truly is one incredible song. Their debut album ‘Lux’ is a musical masterpiece. I highly recommend getting it and highly recommend that you come see Gemini Syndrome live. It will truly be a night you will remember.
