Ke$ha prove she leads a crazy beautiful life on her MTV show and only further displays it during her live concert. There are dancing ninja, blow up pigs, giant blow up woman’s thighs, mini tie dye cars, drag queens, brightly costumed dancers, whipped cream, and of course it is all flooded with glitter. The crowd eats up the “we are the crazy people” mentality set forth but the singer and dances in the isles while watching eagerly to see what she will do or say next.
Ke$ha does not disappoint. The beautifully chaotic singer played new music- some never even released- as well as some of her hits that have become feel good summer anthems. She bounces around the stage full of energy scantily clad in rhinestone leotards and thrilled to see herfans interacting and singing with her. She is more than happy to be dubbed the stunning leader of the stonecold pack of weirdoes who she encourages to be the unapologetically themselves.
Ke$ha is surrounded by an incredibly talented band, backup singers, dancers and stage hands. In between songs her band plays instrumental sets and plays videos of the singer making there no dull lulls in the show. This was the first show of the new tour also featuring Pitbull and it seemed a little disheveled but it went right along with the chaos of the show.
The ending song was an epic finale. There were dancers, strippers, flags, giant blow ups, and streamers and glitter flooded from above the crowd. Not one person under the cover of the Comcast Center was without a flicker of shimmering glitter in the after show pictures. Ke$ha makes no apologies for who she is, has a wide range of different songs, and has enough happening on the stage that everyone is entertained whether it be a diehard fan or a parent taking their child to the show.
