Michigan metalcore band unveils new version of “bad luck” featuring Currents and After The Burial’s Anthony Notarmaso
Following their recent U.S. tour, metalcore band We Came As Romans released a reimagined version of their single “bad luck” Wednesday, featuring guest vocals from Currents’ Brian Wille and After The Burial’s Anthony Notarmaso.
The collaboration brings together artists from the Bad Luck tour lineup, adding new vocal layers to the original track from the band’s latest album, All Is Beautiful…Because We’re Doomed.
The Michigan-based five-piece will begin a European and UK tour September 26 in London, running through mid-October with stops in Paris, Berlin, and Munich. They’re also scheduled for appearances at Louder Than Life and When We Were Young festivals.
We Came As Romans, formed in 2005, consists of Dave Stephens (vocals), Joshua Moore (guitar), Lou Cotton (guitar), Andy Glass (bass), and David Puckett (drums). The band has been recording and touring since the 2018 death of original vocalist Kyle Pavone.
Their 2022 album Darkbloom featured “Black Hole,” which has exceeded 102 million Spotify streams. The band’s 2013 release Tracing Back Roots reached the Billboard 200 Top 10.
The reworked single is available on streaming platforms.
